What I've been up to lately
- Getting sick: I think that I'm finally almost over the flu that knocked me out for about 4 days
- Testing my new TV antenna: I decided that I wasn't watching enough TV to make it worth paying for cable each month so I'm planning to cut that off at the end of the month. 1 HDTV signal - which means it's clearer than anything that I got on cable since I didn't want to pay for a digital box; 3-5 semi-clear non-digital channels.
- Reading: I'm just here for the food (the written companion to Alton Brown's show); Generation me: Why Today's Young Americans Are More Confident, Assertive, Entitled - and More Miserable Than Ever Before; Deja Dead (murder mystery set in Montreal); Making Room: Recovering Hospitality as a Christian Tradition
- Bumping into someone on campus
- Baking bread: Yay for bread recipes that require no kneading
- Homemade pizza: Trying to get closer to the dish's roots
- Trying to spend less time web-browsing
