Something to think about - the percentage of Christians in the Palestinian population is about 4x as high as amongst the Israelis: "Today only about two per cent of the population of Israel and eight per cent of the West Bank is Christian."
"Researchers say recipes from Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson contain more calories and fat than meals from supermarkets" - perhaps this is an instance of confusing specialty food from everyday food or failing to talk of moderation as, e.g., Julia Child would.
Even amongst relatively young couples "the social norm 'men should earn more than their wives' seems to be alive and well." There's a link to the research paper at the beginning of the article.

An attempt to profile members of those organizations acting in opposition to the "Christian Right". Wonder if they'd have had difference results if they looked for mission statements with words like "patriarchy" instead?
