I had been working at the roughly-a-post-a-day pace for a few months until this trip, so now I'll have to see if this blog gets back to that sort of pace.

The flights home were a little annoying... the airport at which I was connecting had fog issues which resulted in about over an hour of circling the airport trying to figure out whether or not it would clear so that we could land. Combine that with the following flight "departing" only 20 minutes late... where departing meant pushing back and starting the engine, then announcing "oh... by the way, we can't take off for 20 minutes". *sigh* ... but at least I managed to get a bite to eat finally.

A Darren-approved mode of transportation

Taking Via is completely unrealistic in Western Canada, but here it doesn't seem too bad. Currently onboard Via somewhere between Quebec City and Montreal. Once in Montreal it's time to head back to the old part of town to try to take a few photos - I was last there at about 9pm so it was too dark - and then it's off to my hotel near the airport to catch a few hours sleep before my flight back.

Apparently Via is having some intermittent problems with their onboard Wifi, but I don't mind given that they've made it free for the moment as a result.
