Few Say Religion Shapes Immigration, Environment Views
Research from the Pew Forum suggests that religion has little impact on views on immigration policy and environmental policy.
Light Drinking Said OK for Pregnant Women: While binge drinking is still harmful, pregnant women can safely consume small amounts of alcohol.
The reports seem always to go back and forth on this issue. Now "the study, which found no evidence of harm from having a couple drinks a week during pregnancy, was so well done and its findings so conclusive that it ought to become the final word in the field, said Fred Bookstein, an applied statistician who studies fetal alcohol spectrum disorders at both the University of Washington, Seattle, and the University of Vienna." Is this the final word, or simply the next round?
"Eating Food That’s Better for You, Organic or Not"
Despite the associations that have developed for the word, eating certified organic food offers no guarantee of "eating well, healthfully, sanely, [or] even ethically"
Why Libraries Are Back in Style: It's Not Because of Books; They're 'Memory Rooms' Or TV-Free Private Spaces

After seeing how FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) affects kids, there's no reason to take a chance. It's more damaging than almost any drug taken in pregnancy. Tiny amounts might be safe but the possible consequences outweigh that.

The results seem to indicate that kids whose parents drank moderately actually did better. Quote: "Having one or two drinks a week while pregnant could actually give your kids a slight developmental advantage."

"Slight" - I doubt it's worth the risk of the opposite end. FASD is nothing to mess around. Instead of drinking lightly, try playing Beethoven to your stomach- I'm sure that has 'slight' benefits.
