Environment Canada has a "Weather Winners" page. Here's what Calgary got the nod for:

  • Sunniest winter (366.2 hours)
  • Most sunny days year round (333 days)
  • Most sunny days in cold months (132 days)

A nice change from Vancouver! (over 475 more hours of sunshine expected in a year)
